A cross between the Golden Delicious and Kidd’s Orange Red, it’s well loved all around the world. It has a firm, fine texture with a crisp bite, that compliments it’s aromatic, sweet taste.

Best enjoyed: fresh, in salads, to make sauces, butters, dressing.

Pink Lady

Has a sweet-tart taste with it’s high sugars and high acids. Popular and known for its crisp bite. The flavour leans more towards the tart side than sweet.

Best enjoyed: fresh, or cooked. Retains shape when cooked making ideal for pies, cakes, jams, chunky sauces, poaching, pancakes.

Fiero Fuji

A large variety with high sweetness and a crispy bite. Juicy and refreshing.

Best enjoyed: fresh, but they’re also great to bake with as they hold their shape when they are cooked. Apple sauce and pies are often made with Fuji apples.

Honey Core

High sweetness with only a slight tartness to the flesh. They have a satisfying crunch, dense texture and are very refreshing. You can identify honey core apples by their unique spotted appearance of their flesh.

Best enjoyed: chilled, fresh, baked, and cooked

Red Delicious

A medium to large apple with a medium sweetness, mild flavour, and crisp white, juicy flesh.

Best enjoyed: fresh, in salads, doesn’t hold well when cooked.

Granny Smith

A hard apple with maximum crisp and sour factor. It has a very sharp taste and beautiful scent to make your apple experience a pleasant one.  

Best enjoyed: chilled, fresh, in a salad, apple cider, pies, cobblers, muffins, cakes, tarts. It will maintain its tartness after cooking and bring balance to a sweet dessert.

Aztec Fuji

A full coloured, pinkish red variety. Like all Fujis you can expect high sugars and a crispy bite. Thin skin with juicy white flesh.

Best enjoyed: fresh, but they’re also great to bake with. Apple sauce and pies are great with Fujis.
